A stole fee can be a free-will offering or it can be a set fee  made by a parishoner when a priest performs a Baptism, wedding or funeral.  It goes to the parish, not the priest.  It’s not a mandatory fee.

 

The Holy Cross Parish Council has adopted the following policy regarding stole fees:

 

BAPTISM-no set fee, donations are welcome

WEDDING-set fee of $100

FUNERAL-will not have a set fee
