SHEPHERD’S VOICE:

There is a key question that Jesus asks the first two disciples who become His followers: “What are you looking for?”  This question goes before us in this earthly journey.  We are asked to believe that only in a personal, trusting relationship with Jesus Christ will we truly find what our hearts and minds are looking for.                    Fr. David

FR. DAVID ON KOINONIA NEXT WEEKENDI will be at the TEC Center in Belle Prairie next weekend (Jan. 19-21) for a Koinonia retreat.  Fr.Laurn Virnig will be having Confessions and Mass at the usual times in both parishes.  In case of emergency, the number at the TEC Center is 632-1675.  We are always looking for more candidates interested in making a weekend.  There are already a couple of our parishioners on the team for next weekend.  Please call me at 468-2111 if you’d like to join with others in a renewal of our Catholic faith.

A LETTER FROM AN UNBORN BABY:   Dear Christian, I was very much looking forward to my life in this world.  I wanted to have dolls, ride a bike, go to the circus, and see the zoo.  I looked forward to celebrating Christmas and receiving Jesus in Holy Communion.  I’m very sad I never got to do any of these things.  My parents did not let me be born.  But I just don’t understand one thing – why didn’t any of you help me I wish you had.  Nobody heard my crying voice.     (*Something to think about with our Pro-Life Rally coming up on Monday, January 22nd at the State Capitol in St. Paul).

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK – Blessed are they who have the gift of making friends for it is one of God’s best gifts!!!
