May the Lord bless each of you and your loved ones as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!  As we come to worship Him this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we ask that all people will recognize Jesus Christ for who He truly is: God who took on our humanity, even to the point of being born as an infant in a Bethlehem stable.  He came to us that we might come to Him.  May each of us answer His call with a trusting faith!       Fr. WHERE’S THE LINE TO SEE JESUS?  Christmas time is approaching, snow is starting to fall, shoppers choosing their presents, people sending out their cards.  Children waiting for Santa with excitement and glee, a little boy tugged my sweater, looked up and asked me, “Where’s the Line to see Jesus?”  As I stood in amazement at this message profound, I looked down to thank him, he was no where around.  A little boy at the mall might as well had wings, as the tears filled my eyes, I thought I heard him sing, “Where’s the Line to See Jesus?”  Is He here at the store?  If Christmas time is His Birthday, why don’t we see Him more?  Where’s the Line to See Jesus?  He was born for us.  Santa Claus brought our presents, but Jesus gave His life for us.  In the blink of an eye, at the sound of His trumpet, we’ll all stand in line at His throne.  Every knee shall bow down.  Every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.  One day, we’ll all stand in line at His throne.  One day, we will all stand in Line to see Jesus.  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!

KEEP THESE THOUGHTS WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE COMING YEAR OF 2018 – 1) If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.  2) If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.  3) He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.  4) Whenever you want to talk, He’ll listen.  5) He could live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.  6) What about the Christmas Gift He will send you in Bethlehem, not to mention that Friday at Calvary.  Face it He really does love you.  And remember:  God Answers Knee-Mail!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK – “Do you take Me as Lord of your life – for the rest of your life?  To love and honor Me all the days of 2018?”  “I do, Lord!”
