Meeting was called to order at 7:30 and Fr. David led the council in prayer.

Members present:  Fr David, Dave Schubert, Phyllis Schmidtbauer, Horst Hanneken, Leonard Thesing, Gary Hebler, Dave Skwira, Ronnie Gross, Sheila Rudolph, Russel Woitalla, and Yvonne Kisor.

Council thanked Ronnie for his years of service and welcomed new member, Russel Woitalla.

Debra Meyer-Myrum gave the council a report on Holy Trinity School.  The Holy Trinity budget is on track with the decrease in the parish investment and increase in tuition and fundraising. 

Representative from Erlandson Epoxy Floor Coating met with council and presented a quote to redo the floor in the kitchen.  Ronnie made a motion, seconded by Phyllis to replace the kitchen floor.  Motion carried.  Dave Schubert will contact.

Sheila made a motion to approve minutes from the April 7 meeting.  Motion seconded by Gary.  Motion carried.

Leonard made a motion, seconded by Sheila the approve the treasurer's report.  Motion carried.

Received a quote of $6200 to replace 3 doors leading to the basement.  Bid was for the doors, jambs and labor.

There was a discussion about facility and equipment rental.  Currently the tables are not rented out and the chairs are available at no charge.  There is a $100 damage deposit on the buildings and $50 damage deposit on the chairs.  Deposits are returned if building is cleaned and chairs are returned undamaged.  Decision will be made at the next meeting as to future pricing and use.

There was discussion of obtaining an AED device and a first aid kit for the church.  Price ranges from $1200 to $2500 for an AED unit.  We will be looking into trying to get funding for one.

Lynn Woitalla has resigned from the organ playing position.  We would like to thank her for her many years of playing.  We will need to find a replacement.

There will be a bazaar meeting May 26th at 7:30.

The next council meeting will be July 21st at 7:30.

Meeting closed at 7:30 and ended with prayer led by Fr. David.
